Community rules
IronConvoy is a place for drivers to connect, share useful information and look out for one another. These rules apply to public, friends-only and convoy spaces, profiles, meet-ups and radio conversations.
What is not allowed
- Sexual-service advertising or solicitation, including offers or requests for sexual escorts or “lot lizards.” Ordinary pilot-car and oversize-load escort discussion is welcome.
- Pornographic or explicitly sexual content, sexual exploitation, or sexual content involving children.
- Threats, instructions or encouragement to harm someone, stalking, coercion, trafficking, or intimidation.
- Arranging or promoting harmful criminal activity, including theft, trafficking or illegal sales.
- Harassment, exposing another person’s private information, or attempts to evade moderation.
How review works
New and edited text is checked against safety rules. Suspected violations are held before publication, and a private copy goes to the app owner for review. Editing a submission that is held does not replace the existing published content.
A screening match is not a finding that someone committed a crime. Safety discussions, quotations and ordinary trucking language can be misunderstood. Open Community controls → Safety & reviews to see your submission’s status or explain a mistake privately. An approval lets you retry that exact submission for 24 hours; it does not publish it automatically.
Automated checks can miss harmful content. Live voice is not automatically screened, and the new text checks do not mean all older content has been reviewed. Existing reporting, blocking and owner moderation remain available.
Report a safety concern
Use the flag on a post, reply or road report, or open Community controls → Safety & reviews to report a profile, convoy, stop, meet-up or radio incident. Include the relevant handle, channel, time or content reference. You may quote the material in a private report. Reports are visible to the configured app owner and are not posted to the community.
The owner may reject content, remove reported content or suspend an account using moderation controls. Reports are allegations that need review; sending a report does not automatically penalize the person being reported.
Immediate danger? Contact local emergency services. This review inbox is not emergency dispatch, is not continuously monitored, and has no guaranteed response time.
Your information
Need a Buddy offers peer support, not therapy or emergency care. Be kind, listen without judgment, and avoid diagnoses, medication instructions, self-harm encouragement, requests for money or moving vulnerable people to off-platform contact. Buddy posts, messages and poll options are screened; harmful replies can still get through. Use the in-conversation report and block controls.
Anonymous Buddy aliases hide your driver profile from other members, but the owner can identify accounts for moderation. Titles and opening posts are visible to signed-in drivers; live-chat messages require joining, with owner access for moderation. Live chats expire after 24 hours and discussions after 30 days. Physical cleanup occurs with Buddy activity after an additional seven days. Moderation records are separate.
Detention journal entries are private to the account that created them. They are retained until you delete them and can be exported from the journal. Wait-time and payment figures are personal estimates, not guaranteed compensation or an electronic logging device record.
Safety review stores the submitted text and account reference privately for moderation. Do not include unnecessary personal information. Signing out does not erase a report or review record. See About, privacy & radio help in the app for the current data controls.
